So we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in live abides in God, and God abides in Him.

Reading and Learning
The abundant, more-than-enough life with Him is what God envisions for you. And in this life we are never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary - we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit.

What holds most of us back are excuses; excuses about why other people can do things that we can't. I'm not sure about you, but I have spent too many years with the comparison handicap, wanting to be someone else. It wasn't until I realized that when I really made God my number one, by believing what He said about me and what He had done for me, that I settled into a confident number two spot - confident that He is watching over me and guiding my every step.

Outdoor Fun
We were so happy to get back outside this afternoon. The days of rain have made the flowers and garden grow like crazy. The puppies were excited to have playtime with the kids. And the chickens enjoyed being fed treats from the garden.
In the Kitchen
My assistant chefs helped me make baked apples.
Fried chicken tenders, butter bread, baked apples and broccoli and cheese for lunch; frozen pizza and marinated onions and cucumbers for dinner. And I canned six pints of relish.
