Monday - Beginning a New Week

Inspiration

For You formed my inward parts;

You knitted me together in my mother's womb.

I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Wonderful are your works;

my soul knows it very well.

My frame was not hidden from You,

when I was being made in secret,

intricately woven in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed substance;

in your book were written, every one of them,

the days that were formed for me,

Reading and Learning

Your past doesn't determine your potential; whether anyone notices you or not doesn't determine your potential; and neither does any unfair treatment, injustice, or disappointment you encounter. God, your Creator, determines your potential. He's hardwired it into you.

In fact, He said He knew us before He formed us in our mother's wombs. Before we were born He set us apart. Not one detail has escaped His love: He knows every hair on your head; He's numbered them, and He tells us not to be afraid because we are more valuable to Him than anything.

Workbooks

Kylin and I played several rounds of Dominoes this afternoon.

Outdoor Fun

I heard a lot of discussion about whether this was a camp or a house. I'm not sure what they decided but they were having fun whatever it was. Carson very seriously helped me supervise.

In the Kitchen

Fried cornmeal mush (it sounds and looks a bit strange but the kids love it), and turkey sausages for breakfast. We also had peaches and milk. We had cheeseburger macaroni, peas and mandarin oranges for lunch.

Other Fun

I love seeing imaginations and creativity at work with the blocks.
