Monday Moments

Inspiration
Let Christ's word live in you like a rich treasure.
~ Colossians 3:16 (NIrV)

Reading, Learning and Playing Together

"Your life," he said, "Your life is the sacred white upon which His Word appears, the holy parchment that bears and manifest the eternal script. Therefore, the key is to join your life, your heart, your emotions, your soul, and your will to the Word of God . . . to join the black with the white, the ink with the scroll, to receive the holy oracles, to carry it and manifest it to the world. Let every part of your life become the sacred white . . . onto which the Word of God is revealed . . .
Day 131

Michael watched his school videos today then helped at the Food Pantry, and attended a Youth Meeting via Zoom.

We're getting close to our spring-themed journey through the alphabet. Today we talked about the letter Ww and the sound it makes. We practiced tracing the letter and colored a picture of raindrops. We also talked (in preschool terms) about the water cycle and colored a worksheet illustrating that cycle.

Little moments of fun.

Outdoor Fun

This little girl has been busy. She's learning to walk on a leash, and she got to meet the chickens and a couple of the cats. She's growing like crazy and developing a quirky little personality.

We went out to play this morning and a little this afternoon but this is the only picture I got. It was windy and almost cold outside. I am ready for warm weather to come and stay!

In the Kitchen

Italian chicken, peas, cantaloupe, and butter bread for lunch.

Quote of the Day

Every day, it's important to ask and answer these questions: "What's good in my life?" and "What needs to be done?"
~ Nathaniel Branden
