Reading and Learning

Today's letter for the preschoolers was Gg. We learned that the word garden begins with letter G, traced upper and lower case Gs and counted and colored pictures of vegetables from the garden.

Michael and I took his schoolwork out on the front porch again this evening. We are loving this nice weather and being able to work outside. Along with math, reading and history we finished the book of 1 Corinthians this evening so we'll start on 2 Corinthians tomorrow.

In the Kitchen

We had sausage cheese toast, tomato slices and orange juice for breakfast this morning. I made a chicken and rice casserole, green beans and applesauce for lunch. Once again there were enough leftovers from lunch for us to eat for dinner. I plan for that to make our evenings simpler. If there aren't enough leftovers or we don't feel like eating them we fix something simple like sandwiches or a bowl of cereal. 

Outdoor Fun

We had a nice morning outside but our afternoon playtime was cut short but a shower and thunderstorm.

This evening Michael, Amanda and I went for our usual evening walk/bike ride. Amanda and I walk and Michael rides. It's nice to have the school grounds directly across the road from us where we have nice places to walk and ride. And I love the views as well.

Just Because

I found these two just hanging out together, enjoying a computer game. and couldn't resist a picture.
